Colin Geddis Tour Branding

Colin Geddis, Northern Irish royalty, known for creating Lavery’s Comedy Club in Belfast, selling out the SSE Arena, and hosting the now worldwide hit podcast Bomb Squad, approached the studio after seeing our work in handcrafted custom logotypes. He was looking for a brand that felt retro and nostalgic, with a strong sense of workwear. The aim was to create a logo and identity for his new tour that he could wear as much as promote.

It was a really collaborative process. After going back and forth, sharing references from workwear brands, fashion, and old-school car graphics, we landed on this mark. The logo was designed to feel like it’s been hand-printed onto fabric, with the forms bleeding slightly into each other, like wet ink, and into its oval outer shape.

Once we created the logo mark, we built a fully textured, tactile and workable brand language that could be used across all of Colin’s new tour posters, stickers, merch and socials.
